Title: Hce Problem

First off I just want to say I tried the search forum and it doesn't seem to be working. I downloaded the newest version of HCE, HCE07 I think it is called, but when I try to load it it freezes at the evox loading screen. I'm running Morden's audio package, version 2 (btw, thanks Morden), and I have never had to sign any xbe's before. This is the second version of HCE I tried and neither seem to work for me. It shows up in my Evox menu but refuses to load, I can't do an IGR so I have to reboot the XBOX. What I need to know is, has anyone got this to run with the audio hack? If so, how? Do I need to sign the HCE xbe? If so, what do I use and how do I use it? Sorry, but like I said I never had to sign any xbe's before and I can't get the search to work

to my knowledge HCE should run fine with the exploits as i had it running on a friends xbox using the audio exploit, but i know what you mean i had the same sort of problem when using 0.7 for first time do you have any other dashboards installed (e.g avalaunch)
if so try loading HCE from them as this worked for me then it should load from Evox.

Thanks for the speedy reply onlyme. No I only have Evox on my Xbox. I tried the older HCE packages and they all freeze at the loading screen. Did, or does, anyone else have this problem with HCE? If so, how did you fix it? or did you fix it?

r u sure u installed it right? as in u extracted the files from the rar or zip and into the right folder?

yeah i loaded avalaunch from evox then loaded HCE after that it always loaded straight from evox.

How's your evock .ini file???

Do u have it the right folder and itemized right?

sometimes for me, HCE v0.7 will hang when evox is launching it, but its only occasional, not everytime, actually it boots fine more ofter than not, but whats causing it to hang for me on those certain instances?

dont worry we all make mistakes thats how we learn not to do them
