With new games coming out how can we take advantage of these "extra" maps that you can DL throught XBOX LIVE ? I have a few ideas that i'm not sure about yet. The first is as follows:
put my game in "legit" and log into my XBOX LIVE account. Go to DL-able content and DL the new maps that are available for that current game. Such as CS or Rainboxsix 3. Then switch off the box, revert to my moded bios and ftp into the xbox to find where the maps were installed to. Then take these "files" that we added throught the update and hope that they allow me to use the new maps on xbconnect or xlink.
Does anyone have any idea if this will work? Or does XBOX LIVE only DL some of the "map" and then when your on live does it rec. this code and then "connect" to the rest of the map on a live server??
Please help me research this project, i feel it will help the mod scene.
