Actually no, don't scrap that? How do you make vehicles to projectiles? It ain't working for me... Zero Cool, can you write an EXTREMELY N00B tut for me??? I really want to do this manually!!

BTW im trying to get the pistol to shoot the vehicle, not the rocket, its to slow

the reason why is because your trying to do that in multi-player. You cant do that in multi-player because it restricts the number of vehicles.
you can shoot vehicles out of weapons in single-player, but you need the trainer and invincibility on (the vehicle lands on top of you).

there are ways to get more vehicles in multiplayer levels, but its very complicated (just find a patch)

ok. Short and sweet. Don't say anything if you dont know its a fact, Multiplayer maps do NOT restrict the amount of vehicles, bungie would have no use for some peice of code like that. A tut is being written by macegac as I type. I walked him through the process and I was helped by dmauro. I'll post the tut when it's finished.

ok in order to do this u should learn and study the tut:vehicles in non vehilcle maps.
there's some helpful things there for this hack.....
example used was a rocket launcher which shoots out warthogs in bloodgulch.

steps

1.)get output file of bloodgulch(i suggest one with a identifier)

2.)look for rocketlauncher projectile identifier eg:

=== INDEX ITEM 1136 ===  (0x2344424)
Tag class 0: 'proj' Projectile
Tag class 1: 'obje' Object
Tag class 2: ''
Identifier: 0xE5E40470
Filename Offset: 37048739 23551A3
Offset: 43112916 291D9D4

Filename: weaponsrocket launcherrocket

3.)take Identifier: 0xE5E40470 and reverse in pairs ...0xE5E40470 reverse to 7004e4e5 dont include 0x
(you may also add spaces in between pairs which usually makes it hex editor freindly--->70 04 e4 e5)

4.)now search for that value...you should find a a the string JORP by itself...once you do go back to ur outputs..

5.)now find the identifier for the warthog eg:

Tag class 0: 'vehi' Vehicle
Tag class 1: 'unit' Unit
Tag class 2: 'obje' Object
Identifier: 0xE3D70263
Filename Offset: 37027828 234FFF4

and reverse the identifier like above ..so from 0xE3D70263 to 6302d7e3(add spaces if you want---> 63 02 d7 e3)

6.)now...replace the reversed identifier value of the rocketlauncher(7004e4e5) to the warthogs identifier value
(6302d7e3)

7.)now remember tht string JORP ? well replace JORP with IHEV.

8.)now SAVE...MAKE SURE IT SAVES.i had trouble with saving so i included this as a step.

9.)now after youve SAVED!!!..upload to your xbox and have fun!!!

I dunno about HCE but I've gotten this to work using the tut above and with Cartographer (beta 4).

You can shoot vehicles and live without using the trainer.  Just shoot out the vehilce while you are in the side seat of a Warthog.  There are other ways too, but that is the easiest.

does any one here know how to make the hog or anything in the map look like the active camo? you know when u get the camo u can still see the person well thats what i want to do to the hog or anything in the map. if you know how post it and if u can mp me and let me know.

but the problem will be that if you have the projectile page after that page it will overwrite it again  dry.gif
and other way it will overwrite the normal projectile page

and yeah mastertito4 is right, no page limits

ok added so when you switch the projectile to a vehicle it swaps the tags
but the problem is... cant restore it :s

yea those are cool but I've added something that will do it for you
so when you choose a projectile and swap it with a vehicle it will change the tag for you, without special stuff in the ini files

oh okay, i think i understand what your saying, what your saying is all you did was add warthog, ghost, and scorpion onto the projectiles page and then used multiple offsets? i dunno, cant wait for an update though, great job!
