Title: How Do I Know If Its Outputting 720p/1080i

Just wondering how i know cause i've done all the dash stuff and clicked all the options 420p/720p/1080i and when i play a divx or game they look awful my my HDTV

tried everything and a just dont see any quality change overall it looked fine on standard and it just looks same as that on HD with downside beening that divx and games look a mess which is annoying
