Title: Network Connection

i am currently having trouble connecting my softmodded xbox to my pc. i am running windows vista ultimate. this was previously working fine until i added a router to my pc. i had my xbox connected by a crossover network cable and was working fine. however i have since added a cable router for my internet connection but i have kept my xbox cable in the same ethernet connection on the pc. when i go to network connections i cant seem to see the conenction for the xbox can anybody help please?

You dont actually need to re wire the cross over cable. The router will sense the config and adjust it accordingly.
