okay my xlink kai on my xbmc work when i dont use wireless on my laptop how do i use wireless on my laptop (the xbox not wireless) to use xlink engine
-
get a cross over cable, connect it from your xbox to the laptop and share the network connection when the laptop is connected via wifi. Also make sure the engine is running on your laptop or another computer on your network. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

try to connect it like imamafackinhokie 'cus i have done it that way and it works...
Laptop --> wireles connection to the router
---> x-cable connection to the xbx
router --- > just connected wireless to the laptop
(check your firewall settings)

i did something probably wrong on the xlink kai configuration becuz i dont know how to set it wireless

You don't have to set anything on xlink to wireless. Why not get a wireless adapter for the xbox (i.e.netgear game adapter) and have both the xbox and laptop running wirelessly? But as mentioned above, make sure your laptop is running the xlink engine, or the process won't work. That is what I am using in my front room and it works great. My other xbox in the back is "wired" because I stream a lot of video (ie movies) thru it, and well, wireless and video streaming can at times SUCK!
hope that helps
