Title: Can't Set Up Share With Smb Or Xbms

I recently updated my xbmc version to the 5/21 T3CH build, but my network shares no longer work. I have been using smb shares in the past. I tried to set them up just as I used to in the xml file:

<bookmark>
<name>Evan's Music</name>
<path>smb://user:[email protected]/MyMusic</path>
</bookmark>

But when I click that bookmark, xbmc just freezes. I also tried setting up a xbms share using ccx_gui. The self test passes just fine, and I set up my xml file as:

<bookmark>
<name>XBMSP Network Share</name>
<path>xbms://192.168.1.101:1400/MyMusic/</path>
</bookmark>

However, this also just freezes xbmc. And idea what I could be doing wrong?

remove user:pass unless your username is user and your password is pass

also delete your xbmc gamesave.

Also if your folder size is huge it could take a long time to load up, mine takes liek 10 minutes for the first time to load. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Maybe try remaking your bookmark by browsing out? Push white button, add source, browse to a network directory and try to add it?

bump...it seems to just randomly work about 10% of the time. But it usually doesn't. I have a user account called xbox with the password xbox. I set the debug level to 3 and this is what i got:
