my last edit doesnt apply anymore. There was a switch on the cable and it wasnt on component but on svid. So colors are back, however, the xbox is still in Pal whenever I restart so that problem remains. I now get that it probably has to do something with the shadow c drive and the eeprom (who is probably locked), but I dont know how to fix it, its been a while since I played with xbox
