Title: Is 30 Gauge Kynar Wire Appropriate For Samsung616t
Post by: GameGenie on March 16, 2004, 05:24:00 PM
My question is this: Can I use 30 gauge Kynar insulated solid wire instead of the 26 gauge that is recommended?

Ive used 30 gauge before... so far no problems. I of course do not know the spec. for how much current runs through those lines or anything.

as long as your not soldering them to the power connections on the samsung board and then splicing them into the yellow ribbon cable.  But i guess in that case you could just solder the yellow cables wires directly to the power solder pads anyways.
