Title: Transfering Files (games) From Xbox To Xbox W/o Pc
Post by: ultimate0 on July 01, 2004, 10:48:00 PM
I've tried a few different programs but I havn't been able to transfer a game or any file for that matter from one xbox to another connected via a regular switch and 2 Cat5 cables.  I've assigned one IP as 198.162.1.2 and 198.162.1.3 to the 2 xboxes.  Anyway, please let me know if you have any ideas on what to do...  Thanks  <

Are the two Xboxes able to "see" each other?  Like if you play system link in Halo or any other game for that matter?

Are you using crossover cable running to the switch instead of patch cable?

Is the FTP function turned on in both of the Xboxes?    <

Yes, the xboxes can "see" eachother.  We play Halo system link all the time.  Both the ftp features are turned on both xboxes also.  <

One of the xboxes needs to be using Avalaunch or the program xtoolbox. These are the only ways that I know of that let one of the xboxes "dial out". The other dashboards only act as ftp SERVERS and don't make outgoing connections, they can only accept inbound connections.  <
