Title: Great Game For A Homebrew Port: Abuse

I haven't seen this at the usual places (unless I missed it somehow!), and it would be a great port.

The game is Abuse, and it's a dark sidescrolling shooter that has an AvP feel.

it's been brought up a few times, and i would love to see this game ported.

this link, however would be a much better sourcebase to port from, being that it's based on sdl

One of my fav games on my old Macintosh when it first came out - never quite finished it even tho' many long nights playing.

The control would be really cool with double analogue sticks too.

I just think Abuse was made for an Xbox/Gamecube/PS2 controller.  <

hell yeah, abuse would rock...

I seem to remember it had some multiplayer mode, but I could never get it going...

and it had a level editor also.  <

YES, a port of this would seem inevatable!

I would definatly make up for BlowOut or what ever that crappy Abuse spin off was called.  <

YEah, damn right, that would be amazing. Abuse had quite a big development scene as well so it should be quite good to use due to all the homebrew levels for it.  <

Ohh yeah... I bought this game when it first came out.

Lost my copy somewhere along the line but it is such a great game.  <
