Title: New Pcsx Feature...
Post by: Teclis on June 12, 2004, 05:16:00 PM
I recently toyed with an idea that I'm currently researching to see if it's at all doable...

Now, as we all know, PCSX is not capable of reading authentic or backed-up PSone games because of drive incompatibility.  As of now, the only way to play PSX games is by FTPing into your X-Box, and uploading the *.BIN *.CUE files....FTPing is a pain for me (especially considering my LAN setup....).  Now what IF someone were to inplement a feature into PCSX-BOX that would enable one to insert the PSone disc (we all know they can be read, just not streamed for a game), and have the program create and store the game image for you, so you don't have to FTP into it anymore?  I'd like to hear what you think of this idea...thanks in advance for all feedback...and when I say all, I mean all.  ^_^

Hmmmm, I think it sounds like a good idea. Most of the PSX games I have I don't play because for me it's a hassle to rip and then transfer it to the HDD. The only problem is that we need a coder.....

Anyone??? :D
