Title: Game Timer
Post by: bobdavis on April 01, 2004, 03:17:00 AM
This would not be possible for just an Xbox application. It would have to somehow be a feature of the BIOS, but that is even stretching it. When you load a game or any other application, the "timer" program would be unloaded from memory, and can no longer function. The only chance would be if someone would create a TSR that could do this like EvoX trainers do. I'd say this is doubtful, though.

Even if this were feasible to implement you're forgetting one very important thing: a lot of console games don't let you save anywhere.  It would be pretty damned frustrating for you be playing a game for an hour and almost at the next save point and have the console just boot you out.

Indeed. That would piss me off.
