it sounds like you have an update version and might well need an older version installed first t install it ?

I have it installed already version 1.2 on my xbox. I installed it using slayers disc. I have no clue how to install the update though because all that came in the zip from ..... is a iso a read me.

What you should do is go to the Tools download section of this website and get a ISO Extraction tool, such as Craxtion or another similar, and extract the ISO file to your computer. From there, you should have the necessary files to update PxHDD Loader. Should be a matter of just taking the files that are in the ISO and drag and dropping them into the PxHDD Loader directory on your XBOX.
I'm not too sure about updating the Loader, but all ISOs contain some sort of data, all you have to do is extract it to figure out what it contains. Hope this helps.
