Title: Xtool Box Question

A little off subject but maybe it can shed some light on your situation. What is the latest version of xtoolbox available? Maybe you have the upgrade your version. I'm running version 0.41 and it seems to work fine so far. I'm using it for the first time today. I just wish that it had a status bar to let you know how much more it needs to go.

What dashboard/app are you running on the Xbox you are trying to connect to?  The newest version of EvoX tends to be a little buggy when trying to connect from XToolBox.  This may apply to other dashboards/apps, too.

I am using evo-x on both.  I have Avalaunch as an application, should I try using that on both boxes?

I think Avalaunch is supposed to be great for box-to-box transfers.  I haven't tried it, though.
