Title: Help Anyone?

hi guys, im new here and have read lots and lots of tuts but have read so much that im lost

heres what i need,

want to play games with ease, no xbox live needed but maybe xbox connect.

i can ftp my xbox i think?  i have a memory card and a modded joypad that connects to the pc so i can use redClouds drivers to do that.

not sure of xbox version,

any help appreciated

accuire a copy of Mechassault, o77, or splinter cell, and get yourslef a copy of krayzies UXE softmod installer, theres plnety of tutorials how to get the save onto your memory unit, good luck!

turns out my memory card is dead so i cant get the files on,  any other way of doing it?

If you have a mate with a chipped machine, hotswap your hdd into his and ftp the files over off a boot disc, such as slayers. Then stick it back in yours.

There is another way, in which you would hotswap the hdd onto your pc and add the files there, there are a few apps about that will allow you to view and edit files on your pc with the xbox hdd in it, however this road is a bit messy, ut it can be done. Personally I would just buy a 2nd hand MU and be done with it mate, less hassle.

nah i'd rather not mess about,

i've just been reading about and it seems my mem card might work with Action Replay 1.05 drivers but i cant find them anywhere.

hotswapping.... you sound n0obish, so you should go for krayzies SC softmod, is your card M$ branded? how do u know its dead?

its an interact 8mb card,  official ones afaik,

i'm not 100% sure its dead, the driver refuses to install and says the card couldn't be started and closes.

i just dragged my xbox upstairs and cba to take it back down again.

i cant get it to work with vivo on my vid card either

Have a search on www.codejunkies.com for AR drivers. I would imagine they would host them there.

ok i tried the AR route and when i go to transfer file to the mem card it say that theres not enough space and then it say theres no card connected,

cant use this mem card.

put the card in the xbox first, if theres something wrong the xbox should try format it, if you have not hotswapped before, i'd stay clear, can kill a hdd with it. if you have a usb storage device, u can use that to replace ur memory unit. you can pick them up in a variety of sizes from 32MB - 2GB, check out this http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=262740

ok i tried th e mem card in the xbox and at first it said it wasn't working and do i want to erase it.

i said yes and now it works fine in the xbox,  time to try again in the pc.

i looked at that link and noticed that the AR software MUST be installed on the default path,   i installed it on a different partition that is set up for programs so could this be the cause?

i also get the error not enough space on memory card using a 8mb card
