Title: Surround Sound With Dvd2xbox Games
Post by: Xeero on November 13, 2003, 05:54:00 AM
dvd2xbox does a file backup of games, meaning that it simply copies the files from the disc to the HDD and patches any XBEs to remove media checks, which it does so the game will run.  It does not modify the files in any way, and certainly does not affect or even remove audio/video streams from media files.

I don't have my Xbox set up to pipe the audio through surround sound, personally.  However, I'm quite certain that dvd2xbox doesn't have anything to do with it.

Does your original work fine with your surround sound?

yeah it was nba live 2004.  It is probably me...I will have to funk around with it tonight and see.  My receiver is picky.  I have noticed in the past that it sometimes detects and sometimes doesn't.  Don't quite know why.  Thanks
