check if the default.xbe is acctually in the root folder of the program

It's probably not listed correctly in the .ini or it isn't even in the installer. What installer are you using. It may be the prob. It might be better to load Evox on c: and then FTP configmagic. Learning to do it manually solves a ton of probs.

HEY, just wanted to let people know me and Pabst Blue Ribbon figured it out thanks to d7onr8, CeREal and Team Assembly for the tips that got me to use my marble. The drive letter for Configmagic in the ini menu of the Evox New HD Installer was wrong. It downloads that way frm "the usual sources". Easy fix. It looks ok on the folders that save to HD so no big deal anyway. Hope this helps someone.
