Title: Can I Copy Form Xbox Dvd Rom To Hdd

i want to be able to copy avi files or mp3 files straight from the xbox dvd rom to my hdd
i have boxplorer installed on my hdd, and can read game cds
but if i put in a cd iv burnt with avi files on. or mp3 file's it just does not read them.

maybe boxplorer cant do this?
should i use xcopy?
