Dunno but I have these problems with it too. Also can't see all remote files.
Try XBtool and see if thats better or try the new XBFTP 61 or something

I had the same problems. i edited the xbftp.ini file. hjere is what i did...i changed the localhost to my xbox's IP and the gateway should be the same for all xboxes. then the script server is the IP of the xbox you want to connect to. check over the excript of the file i entered below:
localhost = 192.168.0.3
gateway = 192.168.0.1
# import_evox_settings, imports and overrides the above settings if it found anything useful
import_evox_settings = c:evox.ini
script_server = 192.168.0.2
script_server_username = xbox
script_server_password = xbox
script_server_port = 21
script_server_scriptfile = ybox_script.txt

I hate to rag on people, but IP address problems always bug me a bit, because people fail to use a decent DHCP server in their home LAN.
Assigning static IPs is ***ALWAYS BAD***. I've been around networks for 20 years now, and in every PC LAN I've dealt with in the last decade, static IPs have always caused countless problems with networking between machines.
Using a decent Router with DHCP = GOOD. I never have problems, now that my PCs and Xboxes (I have 2 Xboxes, 5 PCs) are hooked up to a router (directly and through another hub).

But Ben that doesn't really help the 1 xbox to another issues. If I'm copying a file from one x-box to another then there is not going to be any need for a router or PC.
I have fixed IP's for both my boxes and 192.168.0.1 is always my PC's IP. I must say that I never have any networking problems.
Going to try the new XBtool and see if that OK, should be better hopefully.
BTW Ben aren't you a little to old to be playing with kiddies games consoles ;0)
