I have 3 xboxs atm. Currently one I got Hardware mod in and 2nd one I software modded myself.

The third one is the one that has a problem. This one wasn't originally mine. It has Xbox Live on it and is a 1.0 super old kernel. Forgot the number unfortunatly... I decided to drop on an exploit and forget about live on it cause I really don't care for Xbox Live. I decided to use PBL with Bert and Ernie Font Hacks that replace the Live Button on the dash and change it to Pheonix tab. Well I had problems software modding it because of that Live Dash and the wierd files I've never seen before on the HD (I didn't delete any file just saw multiple copies of Xbox Book and ect for bert and Ernie also the xbox live dash folder and ect i didnt touch).  I got it to boot a few times and ran games. Unplugged it plugged it back in and ran another game like two days later. Now I plugged it in which was about week and 1/2 later and it is stuck in a reboot cycle and I can't get FTP access to it. Nor can I even get a legit game or anything to boot...

Anyone know what the problem could be and if its fixable without openning it still?
I'm guessing its the EEPROM or a clock loop?

If I do have to open it I don't mind I'm just wondering any solution to this atm.

Also anyone know if MS would fix it if I sent it back to them since I havn't opened it?

Any help on recovering this box would really be appreciated.

clock loop.
search up on that.
try the network jack trick
the dirty cdrom trick.

some fonts never come out of the clock loop,
 in that case, open it up, and hotswap.  next time use ude since its prolly a k3944
and you wont have clock loop issues.

I got a similar problem... i had a memory card SC itools hack ..l. working on a 1.0 box... left it unplugged while using my modded xbox and when i came back to restart the 1.0 box with splinter cell in goes to boot and then now blinks red... i think cause it was unplugged for a day it lost the clock... now it wont load the gam dvd and instead blinks red.. before it would blink red but when i had SC in it would boot it... any thoughts?
I was thinking bout using my modded xboxs HD and loading the 1.0 C/folder on it and seeing if i could reboot with that.

Thanks for IDing that its the clock loop and not eeprom.

Finally got it out of it after a few hours or twidling when I woke up this moring and did a little search time remind me about clock loop ( had this happen once on other softmod but had less problems )

How did u fix the clock loop?
