Title: Install Uxe Whith Xboxhdm On 1.6 Pal With Error 13

i have crash a pal xbox 1.6 (k 5838) on changing region 4 to 1 for UDE2
now i have an error 13 after booting
i would like to know if althought the error 13 my hdd will be unlock after few minutes.
Then i could install UXE (i have a backup of C and E but not eeprom) whith hotswap and xboxhdm.

do you think it is possible and what is the better method to repair my xbox ?

Once you get a error screen the drive lock back up :(.
Just listen closely to the drive, and when you here a slight clicking sound, the hardrive is unlocked, now  take out the ide cable out, and place the PC-IDE cable in.

Put region back to 4 if you want to.
Do a clean install of uxe.....

Nothin' to it

hdd will not unlock after a few minutes...... but after a few seconds.
How else would your xbox know that there's anything wrong with your dash?

i cannot put to region 4 because my xbox doesn t boot on dashboard

Yes it will.

Just before your xbox shows the errorscreen the hdd will be unlocked.
At that point you can hotswap and replace the dashboard

but if you changed to region 1 and lets say UDE2 worked but how are you going to play region 4 games ?

i had this worry for quite some time now .

Once you 'modded' your xbox the region does not matter anymore.

Only when you remove the softmod will you loose the abillity to boot retail games from another region.
