Title: Problem/question About Vga Bios
Post by: dokworm on June 15, 2008, 03:59:00 AM
I am trying to use the frostythesnowman vga boot disk 1.0 fixed, but am having a problem.

I have my xbox with a cheapmod and a 400GB HDD.
Am running executer bios 4893.67, with XBMC as my dashboard (on drive f:apps/xbmc) and am using drive g:

When I run the VGA bootdisc, I just get a blue screen after it boots, which after a while goes black, and then back to blue again.
I was wondering if the bios on the boot disc does not support drive G?

I have tried editing the config file on drive e: for various dashboards but always get the same problem.

Have made and tested the VGA cable with LM1881 chip, (works on my other xbox with a vga patched bios.)

Any ideas?
