M8plus_16 boots to XBMC just fine for me. I edited it using EVTool 1.0.9 to boot to F:\apps\XBMC\default.xbe

XBMC has a dummy file that will redirect to wherever you put your XBMC.  You need to get the xbe shortcut maker and it will make the file.  The last I checked the short-cut maker was packed into the TC3 xbmc .rar but if not you can get it from the usual places.
