Did you try the usual fixes (clearing cache, etc.) outlined here?

Not a BIOS issue, because it sounds like you are running NKPatcher.

I did the mod by hotswap...of course.  I got this in the instructions.

Select PBL 1.4.1, PBL METOO or nkpatcher....

it suggested that I do PBL Metoo because it covers all kernels.

Should I have done nkpatcher?
