Title: Bios ?
Post by: jetskidj on August 26, 2006, 02:41:00 PM
Due to a strange story about a lightening strike (loss of a NIC card in my xbox1 and swapping with a fiend that did not car about his NIC card) I now have a xbox with a matrix chip (256K bios) and a 240 gb hard drive.   I’m looking for a Bios that will work with this drive that is 256k.  I have tried  XM.4983.67 and evox.m8plus and both do not see the games on f and g drive.

Here are the 256k bios that I have at my disposal.

Evox.m8
Evox.m8.fc.137
Evox.m8.v16
Evox.m8.v16.fc.137
Evox.m8plus
Evox.m8plus.fc.137
Evox.m8plus.v16
Evox.m8plus.v16.fc.137
X2.4981.06
X2.4981.06.fc.ef
X2.4981.67
X2.4981.67.fc.ef
X2,4983.06
X2.4983.67
Xchanger.0s.update.2.1
Xchanger.os.update.2.1.v16bplus

Thanks in advance for your help.

What version is your Xbox? If it is a non 1.6, I recommend X2 4983.67 (assuming you already have an f and g drive set up). If not, use the .06.

I tried .67 and it booted fine but the f and g drive did not show.

Do I have an issue that I do not understand?

So you have a hard drive that you already had all formatted previously with games on f and g drives? Can you see the drives via FTP? This could be a dash issue.

I can FTP into the xbox but empty F drive and no g drive.

This drive has been working for over a year in the old xbox.  I keep going back to the bios issue.

any ideas?

Nevermind it looks like I have a harddrive issue not a bios issue.  I will repost in the correct area.
