Title: Completely Blank Boot Sequence...?
Post by: anubis81 on July 03, 2006, 02:33:00 PM
Forgive my ignorance if this has been answered elsewhere, but searching brought me so solution.  What I would like to accomplish is to eliminate any sort of display before XBMC loads.  I know that I can change the X logo colors (made them all black), and replace the xecuter logo underneath (a nice black bar), but that still leaves that annoying backlight that shines on nothing.  Is there now way to remove this backlight with the X3 bios?  Or better yet, if I could just skip this screen altogether I'd be more than happy.

I've looked into using IND-Bios but would prefer to stick with what I know and what is working perfectly otherwise.

Thanks in advance.

David

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question but was wondering if you could tell me how you put (a black bar) over the 'xecuter rox my box' logo

If you haven't figured it out... I found a way to have a blank boot sequence minus the xecuter rox my box... (i can get rid of the annoying glow)... but do you know how to put a black bar over the "xecuter rox my box" thing?
