Title: What Bios's Can You Use With V1.6b?

You could use X2 5035 (the v.16 and newer version). Or you could try enabling 'quick IGR' in your Evox BIOS and see if that is what you want. Evox M8+ and X2 5035 are your only choices (unless you have a chip with its own OS).

Well....It's quicker, but causes some games to mess up.

Well, after looking at the features, I don't really see any need to switch. What I'm REALLY looking for is a VGA-compatible BIOS for v1.6b...
