Title: Can I Boot Dash On F Drive?
Post by: Andronicus on April 24, 2006, 09:36:00 PM
I am currently booting xbmc from c using that strange pointing thing (.xbe and .xml on C), but can i just tell the x2config.ini to look on the f drive?

Hrm, XBTools allowed me to mod a 4981 bios to do the same thing, I find it odd that they would move backwards with new releases going all the way from 4983 to 5030 without the ability to boot off of other partitions with the config file.

Actually i think theres an software version( an .xbe file) that will allow to use any ANY xbe to run at boot. I forget the name of it tho. It works with any hacked bios.
