Is there a reson the temp dashboard boots you? Im no programer but has anyone tryed fixing that issue.
Just seems like a nice symple clean way to play back-ups without any worries of being cought on Live. Like i mentioned i do have a fully exploited 2nd xbox but it is on a little tv on the other side of the house.(call me lazy)
If im wrong, If you install the audio hack and MS scan your drives then they would find the hack. I believe legaly the could scan the drive if the wanted and ban you. |
They can't fix this--or at least at the moment haven't been able to--because when the game is booted, the game sets a flag in the system memory to tell itself to reset on eject.

That's right... I'm the man.
He can run backup/homebrew from the game-save exploits. They must reside on the HD and then he simply needs to link his dashboard to the xbe.
A network connection is required as that's the only way to get the files onto the Xbox without ejecting the disk.
Delete the game when you're done and all is back to normal.
Otherwise he would have to borrow a modded xbox for ripping his own games, or borrow a backup of a game he allready owns (would that be legal?)

not true
there is a new mechassault exploit called mech evox and mech avalaunch it will allow you to make backups and run them on your xbox
problem if you try to use live games backups online and someone else is online with the original it will ban you for detecting the serial number that is built into the software

Do yourself a favor and research before you post. You can't play backups on Live to begin with. NOT because of the serial number... It's because M$ scans the xbox for hacked bios.

My point was just this : for him to transfer the backup using a network connection from the PC to the xbox he would have to have the game on the PC. How would he get that if the game itself is not exploitable? I know there are ways of getting ripped games but that's not legal...
To clarifie i have no intention of playing the back-up on live just wanted to play the back-up single player games on my non moded xbox without actualy installing an exploit or mod.
I will try these Maybe tonight and let everyone know what i find
mech evox and mech avalaunch

Sorry! Forgot he had a modded box as well. Still only one or two backups would fit on the stock HD, but yes it is possible.
