Re/ using evox m8plus_16 bios on a non 1.6 xbox.

Now, I do know that at least on the 1.0/1.1 you do get a picture and evolution-x loads fine / you can reflash to the correct bios. The question was if anybody knows whether this will also work on the other versions, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5.

I know this is not the correct bios to use on a non 1.6/1.6b box, the idea was just to use it to reflash the chip using evox or similar. Any help appreciated.

im not really sure  but
i have  xbox v1.6 and i flashed it with all sorts of bios if it not the right ones
it says not compatable with your xbox hardware do you still wanna start yes or no  
 and well you would choose no if not compatable
but why dont you use just m8 and not m8v16 if you dont have a 1.6?
