Title: Cromwell Bios Display Problems
Post by: JUNGLISTICAL on April 23, 2005, 08:07:00 PM
I flashed my chip with the cromwell BIOS, and when I boot up, it loads up, has the 3 options(CD-ROM, Etherboot, and advanced), but part of the top and left side is cut off on my screen.  I checked the video settings, made sure I had them set correctly, and they are; display size is normal, and tv standard is NTSC-USA.  My X3 3108 BIOS screen displays just fine; it's this one I'm having problems with.  Can anyone help out? never mind this post; I figured out why it's doing that.  It's inevitable... If anyone else has this problem, if you have a V1.6 xbox, there's an overscan issue that cuts the left and top sides, and your resolution is out of whack.
