OK, I'm very confused about this stuff, so I came here for advice. I don't like posting, but I'm at a loss.
Basically, I've been told by the guy who modded me XBox that I should upgrade the BIOS to an Evox M8. I don't know how to do this, and so have been scouring the web to find out. The guy won't tell me what BIOS is installed, and I can't find out for myself either. I've used CheckBios on the XBox, but it comes up unknown. The only thing I know is that there are a couple of bios.bin files on the XBox HD, which say they are a Evox M7 when I open them with editing programs.
Basically, I want to make a few changes to the look of the box loading, but none of the BIOS I've patched would flash, because they are all unknown in Evox dashboard Bios flash util.
I don't really know much about what I have. It's running Evox 3935 dashboard, and has a "alx2+" chip (or at least thats what it says instead of MS when it loads).
I anyone can help I would be really grateful!
