Okay guys, this site is great and the tut's have got me this far but now I am totally lost. I have a v1.0 box and just got my x2.6 and installed it fine. Prob is this; I bought the 2.6 programmer with it and tried using X2 bios manager to program but it was a no go (wouldnt detect). So I guess I'm going to have to flash by disc, right? When I start the box up with the mod switch to "on", it asks for flashing via disc, hdd, ftp, etc. I suppose I'll be flashing it by disc (if I can). I already have downloaded the Evox M8+ (this is what I want right?) and want to install that by disc.
Any boot in the ass in the right direction would be a huge help.
Also, I am confused about the 4 banks for flashing. Do I need just one flash, or do I need to put something into each bank? I get this from the X2 Bios Mananger???? Sorry to ask someone to "spell it out", but I have cant find the info I need anywhere.
