Title: Softmod Won't Do Anything?

i have a softmodded xbox (modded with 007 softmod installer 2.0) and has worked for 8-9 months now i even put a 200g hd in it....now months later it goes to the xbox boot screen and does nothing else??? won't read any discs it just sits there at the boot screen....do i need to run the hd...0.9 again on the hard disc or maybe it is something more simple????

any help would be great...

Something has become corrupt (not surprising considering that you used SID 2.0).  Can you still boot your expoitable game (power on the xbox with the game already in the drive).  If so, then you can gain FTP access to fix the problem.  If not, then you are probably going to have to rebuild with xboxhdm, and while you are doing that read up on Kingroachs NDURE installer in the pinned section of the XBE forum.  It is much more up to date, and won't corrupt on you like SID.

thanks...no i can't boot the exploitable game so i guess a rebuild with xboxhdm is what i was afraid i'd have to do....and you suggest Kingroachs NDURE installer i will have to try that next time....thanks for your help greatly appreciated..
