Title: Big F Partition?
Post by: Vejita on December 18, 2004, 09:06:00 PM
I currently have the X2 4983.67 bios flashed on my Xenium ICE.

I have a 200GB HD and I have F and G drive.

I don't have anything yet on my G drive though.

Can I still use the X2 4981 bios and with xbtool set the bios so F takes the rest of the space so there is no need for G drive?

Can I do this since I already have a G drive although its empty.

Thanks.

I personally don't see why it matters if yuo have 2 partitions. Any reason why it matters to you?

I wasn't aware that I could have just a big F drive back when I installed my 200GB HD.

I thought that 2 partitions WERE needed to utilize the whole space.

I tried a bios with Partition 6 takes all space but it didn't work, instead, everything on F is invisible although the free space for F shown is correct under unleashx.

If I use my older bios again which uses F and G drive (partition 6 & 7) I can see everything again.

What do I have to do so I can only have a fully functional F drive and eliminate the G drive?
