Title: Troubles With An Executer 2.26 And A V1.6
Post by: cantloseu on December 04, 2004, 08:23:00 AM
1.  you should have done a little more research before you flashed your chip.  I dont believe team Xecuter has a bios to support the 1.6 xbox for their 2.6 chip.

2.  4977 bios is very old, even if you had a 1.5 xbox instead of 1.6, i dont think 4977 would work (i cant remember).  you would want to go w/ 4981 or 4983.

3.  since you have a 1.6 xbox, only evox M8 bios's are capable or working.

4.  now you'll have to find an alternative method to reflash your chip.  you'll need to get a programmer, how swap or if you're lucky, cromwell will still be on the other half of the chip.

It is possible that Bank 2 also has cromwell on it, but a version that does not support the video controller on your Xbox.

You could try going through the Cromwell Flashprocess blindly and seeing if you can get the DVD Tray to eject?

How big a bios did you flash to the chip?
