Title: Strange Softmod Problem

i softmodded an xbox for a friend using the SC hack and Ltools 1.7.5 - it all worked ok.

But then he gave it back saying it stopped working, and when i turn it on it goes to the MS Dash and the savegames for SC are still on the hard drive but the game dont detect them.

I used the MA mod to quickly FTP to the xbox and the hack files are all still there?

why would it do this, possible because a game tried to update the dash?

the Kernal is 5101 and Dash 4920

whats the best thing to do now?

also, can i use the original MA Crack or is the xbox to new? what do you lot suggest <

You could revert back to normal and install UXE w/ ShadowC and virtual EEPROM and see if that fixes the problem. There are gamesave installers out there for this... :) <
