Title: Problems Flashing Xecuter 2.6

I have a v1.1 xbox with an xecuter 2.6 and a 200gb hard drive.
i decided to put the slayer cd into my xbox because i wantd to put th m8 bios on my chip, and it seemed to reflash it, but when i turn the xbox on, all i get is a flashing red light and no picture at all on the screen.
do you have any ideas on how i can flash it now that i cannot see anything on the screen?

If it aint broke, don't fix it. I heard M8 (Don't flash the 1.6 version!) needs to be on bank 2 on x2's in order to work though I aint sure. You might need to buy a programmer.

i can verify this. i just had to fix one last night...a x2.6 on a 1.6. it was flashed with m8 1.6 and flashbios but in bank 1/2 respectively. i rebuilt a bios iwth flashbios in the first 512k and m8 in the rest and it worked fine as soon as i flashed it with that.
