Hey guys, I've always had a frew grey areas in the world of xbox modding. Since I'm at work, obviously bored off my ass, I thought I'd throw some questions out on the forum to clear some stuff up for me
All I really know about IGR (in game reset) is that if I hold both triggers and hit the other 2 buttons the xbox resets from almost any point back to the main dash. I know that with games like Steel Batallion you need to have it disabled (because the startup sequence uses the same buttons) I'm not sure how to do this because I will just start up within the msdash and it won't have IGR period. I've seen the option in Evolution X to disable it (in the ini file) but I'm using XBMC as my main dash right now and I was wondering if I could disable IGR from within XBMC.
My other question concerns the xbox's clock. I've had to go into the msdash and reset the clock I'd say > 10 times since I've owned the xbox, but still, what exactly causes the clock to sometimes go crazy and set ahead or back a few years? I don't mind being told the wrong time, it's just it freaks out MAMEox whenever the clock messes up (it's how I realize the clock is off, when 1/2 of my apps dont' work)
While I'm here, I'll throw out a third question. Before (I've done a ton of stuff since, so I'm not sure what in specific caused this to happen) I've booted off the m$ bios fine. I can boot up the m$dash perfectly, but now for some reason I get some error when I try to boot up the m$bios from my xenium os. I'll get a specific error message when I get back home
