Title: M8 1.6 For V1.6 (duh)

i did a general search over this topic cause i had a ton of questions about it. . .got almost all my questions answered.
but here's one i have. . .i read a thread, and this guy cliamed that you could not do a bios cd with the m8 1.6 using a v1.6 xbox. . .
is this true? will i have to use a programmer, or setup a network and ftp the bios?
i'm hoping i can just make a disk for this, installing my x2.6 onto my v1.6 is difficult enough, without the damn bios being even more difficult.
any answers would be greatly appreciated.

i may be missing something but how exactly do you intend to load the cd with the bios on it? A 1.6 box will not work with ANY bios except m8 1.6, so if your chip allows booting to the cd it will already have that bios on it.

If you do a savehack or other exploit to get at the cd you should be able to load the bios since at that point you arent using the chip yet, and you can flash it like you would anything else.

The best and easiest way to apply the M8 or M8 v16 06 or 67 bios is to download SLAYERS 2.6 EVOX INSTALL CD-RW/DVD-R (159 MB). I tried everything else but had problems. I have an Aladdin Advance 64 and AppleV X mods and it works on both as well as so many other great features.
