Title: Bios To Support 128mb Ram Upgrade
Post by: charrusch on September 14, 2004, 05:52:00 AM
Does anyone know which bios will allow and enable the use of 128Mb of RAM
if extra ram chips are installed.

I'm hoping that the Evox M7 or M8 will support it, but still it would be great to
know what bios' will support the 128MB of RAM.

jsut to tell, only advantage for having 128 would be certain emulators, Linux, and games with that Ramdelimt thing. But if you use your consle with the chip off it wont make any difference because stock bios only takes in the 64mb.

Which is pretty obvious really

ind-bios supports 128 - and you dont even have to use the ramdelimiter if you set the option in the .cfg.

Bios's dont support extra ram... programs do

Use whichever bios you feel comfortable with

that explains why not matter what you do to your program - it will never use 128megs of ram with an evox bios,
