you are using evtool first, before kernel basher... correct?

Yes that is correct. First use evtool (or xbtool if you do not use M8) and then kernal basher. The open i evtool to get the correct md5 but do not save this time.

I'm getting some funky behaviour with a M8 with IGR (compatible IGR not quick)->EVtool (for editing boot sequence)->Kernel Basher

On IGR, because it its the compatible IGR version its as if it does quick power off/on (e.g. loses signal TV momentarily switches to TV signal) does a full boot sequence (with animation) gets to the splash screen- then reboots again- but this time without ani- then loads XBMC

i've not got round to retesting with another bios- i'm not too fussed really- i got alternate banks and nothing is actually being affected really- just wanted to know if anyone is experiencing anything similar?

AF_Snowboarder01 what are you talking about? EVtool is just for the M8 adn M8_16 bios. I hope you are talking about xbtool. All X2 bios has IGR.

Who has said that? In the early flubber hack you had to EXTRACT the files with xbtool, but with kernalbasher you dont nned that
