Title: Changing The X And Text Colour On 4983

Yoshi has worked out how to modify the colouring of the big X and the xbox text on the 4983 bios. For the moment the values still seem encrypted but heres the offset. 0x2D75C, from there the next 19 bytes control the colours. Have a play, lets see if we can work the correlation.

Here the original string :

I have tested this bios and, yes, the color is very nice.
The point is, now, try some values at the indicated offeet and post the results!

very nice coloring, i've never done any of the logo changing, might have to look into that.

tongue.gif. And now I'm using beautiful, blue animation and crazy boring green logo... and of course the best 4983.67 smile.gif tongue.gif. This is sick tongue.gif. Wouldn't team Executer sit for 5 hours and add few rainbows to our favourite bioses smile.gif?

BTW: Yoshihiro, do you have any pics of the Crystal XDKs mobo? That Xbox has overwhelmed me tongue.gif.

Now that this was bumped up..

Anyone know how to set up the colors in X3 to get the Yoshihiro's "Glacial" look.. when the pic was up it looked simply awesome.

ugh, so frustrating

I HAVE THE HACKED BIOS ON MY XBOX FROM MY COMPUTER, NOW HOW DO I GET IT TO WORK?!

HOW DO YOU "FLASH" YOUR BIOS?!

I think its so easy that everyone just says flash your bios instead of explaining how to do it.  I have a slayer cd, but none of those options say flash your bios, only flash your modchip.

how do i get my xbox to run off my hacked bios i just made !!  i renamed it to my bios name (4981.06_256k.bin)

add this string of text into evox.ini menu.  (don't forget to send the evox.ini to desktop, edit there, then send back to xbox!)

Item "Flash BIOS",ID_Flash_Bios

now make a folder named "Bios" into the C:\ folder and drop the bios into that folder.
reboot evox and run FlashBios.

I did that and it said Y to flash and i did that..and it just says Erasing.  and doens't have a progress bar or anything and it just stays like that.

the evolutionx logo is still spinning so its not frozen, but it has no progress bar and it doesn't do anything


any ideas?
