What did you flash a modchip or tsop, if its the latter go get the first.

i flashed my akira chip, specs say i could flash it will a 1mb bios and thats what did.
-
i think its dead now all i can do is probably hot swap. but what really want to know is why did it screw up in the first place?
-
. Get a cheapmod if you aint got enough cash for these fancy 4th generation chips.
-
nah its a 3rd gen modchip, most havnt heard of it. it had been working for about 6months, but then yesturday i flashed it to change my eject LED and it didnt boot up again. i think ill be getting a xenium because of the recovery option if you do a bad flash.
if anyone can tell me what went wrong, will be a hep.
my hdd isnt locked but i doubt that had anything to do with it.

red on off is not a good sign,
This can be a serious error.
Can you boot you xbox without the modchip turned on?
-
nope, when i was installing my chip the first time i got a solder spalsh onto the TSOP so it wouldnt let the original ms bios to boot, that didnt worry me to much because i didnt use live anyway.
so now it wont boot the original ms bios, or the bios from my chip...
whats with that???
i was wondering if i just bought a new chip and installed it, would it run like normal how my box was originaly...?
my theory...
im pretty sure the red flashing isnt from a eeprom porblem, just a problem where my chip got a bad bios and wont run.
It flashes red because my bios on TSOP has been ruined by a solder splash.
.'. getting a chip with a good bios would fix the problem, because the xbox could boot from it.
am i wrong?
