Title: Odd Bios Question
Post by: estin on February 28, 2004, 06:58:00 PM
i have something that needs clearing up.  "hacked" xbox bios's are illegal, thus the reason for "the usual places" instead of being able to post them here.  but if their illegal why can we talk about the fact were using them? and why do companies like teamxecuter produce them and then not receive penalties for it? they make mention of these on their sites, but again can't say where to get it.   its really weird.  its like  "i make cocaine, we all use it, but we can't tell you where to find it...."

and no, i'm not asking where to find them, locating them isn't a issue for me.

uhm yea! like teamxecueter.. you can do what ever you want with your xbox, it`s your and you own it.  so, if they want to "mess up " their box, then it`s ok, but can`t distribute what they`ve "achieved and share that with others. if that help you.. it`s they way i understand it..

It is legal to tell someone you use cocaine.  The same applies towards software built with XDK.  We have freedom of speech in this country.
