his goal is to have a bios that supports lba48 and vga support, how does m7 meet those?
sundrums, right now, there is not a way to do either, sorry. Undead has starting to get back in the xbox scene, so he might be able to work something in (lba48 support). I have also asked the evox bios guys to look into. Xecuter has said they will as well. So it is being looked into, just no word on how far it is progressing.

HI
thanks for the reply heinrich,
I read the bios hacking tutorial on xbox-scene on how to change the bios to support lba48(for the tatx bios) but that tutorial is more for changing colors and stuff like that.
I took xbtool and unpacked the tatx_debug bios and the tatx_debug_vga bios. I opened both of the xboxkrnl.img files in a hex editor to see what the difference the two files had so i can possible figure out the code that enables the vga. I didnt see any patterns or anything that made sense to me.
I have experience in high level languages and have done some firmware programming but most of my expertise is in hardware development.
If someone would be so kind to point me into the right direction where i can get either source code for the vga bios or lba48 and some more good info on xbox bios programming i'd like to see what i can do.
thanks
sundrums
