Interesting... I run 4977 in the "family Xbox" and it runs MXM 0.9n.6 fine. I believe that was built with XDK 5433
What are the symptoms of the problems associated with homebrew running on these BIOSes?
FYI: I always run xbepatch on MXM before release.

original 4976.02 works fine, but 4976.02 with LBA48 make problems with hombrew.
same problem with 4977 LBA48.
That's a different issue.
Homebrew apps trying to initialize "G:" on an X2 BIOS will hang.
MXM had the problem, and I fixed it by determining if the drive had a G: before trying to initialize it.
If this is what Lantus is talking about, then it's a well-known issue, and fixable.

Works fine for me. Perhaps you used too much peanut butter on the disc.
