Title: Wireless Remote
Post by: maxgeek on May 26, 2003, 10:42:00 PM
sure its possible but it would suck.

The remote is IR. So it needs line of sight.

A wireless controller uses radio signal.

and make sure if you get a wireless controller you get a logitech one.  Apparently they are the only ones who can figure out this seemingly simple technology well enough to give you the response you need and never a disconnect.  I've had every other brand of wireless controller for ps2 and xbox and none have worked as flawless as the logitech.

laugh.gif needless to say after the first lap I adapted to the fact that I could only use one button at a time and there was a near half second lag...
I'd assume you'd have similar problems with the xbox DVD.

Get the logitech one, I have have them for both my ps2 and xbox and I love them. The dpad takes a little getting used to since it is sensative to up/down-left/right.
