Have Xbox v1.0 used xecuter 2.2 pro. Got the cromwell screen to come up. Tried flashing X2_4977 bios on CD-RW 4X but got the following response "programing halt... no bios found." Since that didn't work I tried using the printer cables with Xbm2 but did not work. I got an error message also. However, yesterday I accidentally hit erase chip in XBM2 thinking it would erase the BIOS I had in XBM2 and now after the Xbox symbol comes up I get the following error message "Oops, something is wrong" Error Code 07. Is this because I erased my mod chip? Do I need a new chip or can I reflash. Cromwell screen no longer apprears. If Xecuter is diabled get the standard xbox error screen with "Your Xbox requires service please contact Xbox Customer Support" It's in different languages.
Any help here? Please any response of anyone who has gone through this or had these error messages. Wonder if my Xbox is now hosed.

try using a shorter cable or moving to a different computer. i believe that some computers have problems programming modchips through the printer port.

I'm using a 3 ft cable and still the errors. Is it just a flashing problem or also HDD problem?

Then try booting with slayers evox installer, if it boots, then you know its the harddisk (which it mostlikely is) then you can reinstall everything with slayers on the hd
